Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field.
• CPA license required or eligible for licensure.
• 3–5 years of corporate accounting or financial reporting experience.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and local tax regulations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (Balance Sheets, Cash Flows).
• Manage full-cycle accounting processes including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.
• Perform end-to-end tax filings (VAT, Withholding Tax, Income Tax).
• Conduct variance analysis against budgets and forecasts for insights.
• Coordinate external audits and statutory reporting with auditors and tax advisors.

Your Role

As a Corporate Accountant, you will:

• Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including Balance Sheets and Cash Flow reports.
• Manage full-cycle accounting processes, including journal entries, accruals, and comprehensive balance sheet reconciliations.
• Execute end-to-end tax compliance by preparing and filing local tax returns such as VAT, Withholding Tax, and Income Tax.
• Perform variance analysis against budgets and forecasts to provide actionable financial insights to management.
• Facilitate external audits and statutory reporting by liaising with auditors, tax advisors, and government agencies.

What You Need

Non-negotiables

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license.
• Minimum of 3–5 years of relevant experience in corporate accounting or financial reporting.
• Proven experience handling end-to-end accounting processes and month-end closing activities.Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and local tax regulations.

Preferred Skills/expertise

• Proficiency in accounting systems such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Xero, or QuickBooks.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
• Prior experience in a corporate environment, shared services, or a Big 4 audit firm.
• Experience working with multi-entity or international accounting environments.
• Strong background in internal controls and process improvement/automation.
