Job summary

Chevron Corporation in Makati, Philippines seeks a Contracts Advisor/Category Specialist (Mid-shift) to lead end-to-end contracting strategy for the business unit. You will draft and negotiate contracts, manage pre- and post-award activities, and supervise supplier communications within the Global Business Services Source to Contract team.

The role requires strong customer focus, strategic thinking, and experience with Smart by GEP/Ariba and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in SCM or related field is required.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in sourcing, contracting, and negotiations (or 10+ years in lieu of a degree).
• Experience in RFX management and post‑award contract management.
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute BU contracting plans and spend-channel management in collaboration with BU teams.
• Lead pre-award contracting and post-award contract management activities.
• Draft terms and exhibits using approved templates; ensure compliance with policies.
• Conduct supplier due diligence and risk reviews; draft scopes of work.
• Lead negotiations and deliver contractual savings; mentor junior staff.
• Ensure compliance, controls, and audit readiness; support process improvements.
