Job summary

First Gen Corporation is seeking a detail-oriented Procurement Associate (Reliever) to support day-to-day procurement activities, including reviewing requisitions, evaluating supplier quotations, issuing purchase orders, and tracking deliveries. This role provides exposure to active purchase orders, supplier relationships, and negotiations during a 4-month contract.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement or related field.
• Prior experience in procurement, purchasing, or buyer roles.
• Proficiency in Excel and Word; Google Workspace including Sheets and Docs.
• Knowledge of SAP is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organization.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to coordinate with vendors and internal stakeholders while managing multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Review purchase requisitions to ensure completeness and compliance.
• Evaluate supplier quotations and tabulate offers.
• Prepare and issue purchase orders per procedures.
• Monitor deliveries and coordinate timely fulfillment.
• Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve procurement concerns.
• Maintain procurement records and follow up on requisitions and POs.
• Participate in knowledge transfer to understand active orders and negotiations.
