Job summary

Alvest Equipment Services (AES) is expanding internationally and seeks a Contract & Operations Manager in Manila, Philippines. The role oversees GSE maintenance services for a major airline, managing 30+ airport stations and a ~100-person team to ensure safety, reliability, and performance.

You will report to the APAC Regional Director, drive profitability, KPI monitoring, and continuous improvement while coordinating cross-functional resources and building a strong customer relationship.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in contract and operations management, project management, or account management.
• Proven track record of managing customer-facing service contracts.
• Experience in aviation, airport services, GSE, or related technical services is highly valued.
• Strong experience in operational performance management and KPI monitoring.
• Ability to lead large multi-site teams and coordinate cross-functional resources.

Responsibilities

• Manage the overall customer contract, ensuring compliance with contractual commitments and service level agreements.
• Own the contract P&L, ensuring profitability, cost control and financial performance.
• Lead and coordinate all operational activities across more than 30 airport stations.
• Coach and develop a multidisciplinary team of approximately 100 employees.
• Monitor operational performance through KPIs and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with AES safety, quality and operational standards.
• Build and maintain a strong long-term relationship with the customer, acting as the primary point of contact.
• Coordinate internal resources to guarantee efficient service delivery.
• Prepare operational and financial reports for senior management and the APAC Regional Director.
• Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and support future growth of AES in the region.

As part of our international expansion, we are seeking a Contract & Operations Manager based in Manila, Philippines.

AES specializes in the maintenance, repair, and operational support of Ground Support Equipment (GSE) for airlines and airport operators. Our mission is to ensure the highest standards of safety, reliability, and operational excellence by delivering preventive and corrective maintenance services that maximize equipment availability and airport performance.

Reporting directly to the APAC Regional Director, you will play a key role in the development of AES in the Asia-Pacific region by managing one of our largest customer contracts.

This strategic position combines operational leadership, financial management and customer relationship management. You will oversee the delivery of GSE maintenance services across more than 30 airport stations in the Philippines, leading a team of approximately 100 employees dedicated to maintaining the GSE fleet of one of the largest domestic airlines in the Philippines.

During the onboarding phase, you will be supported by one of our experienced Project Managers to ensure a smooth implementation of the contract before taking full operational responsibility.

Key Responsibilities

Experience

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Contract Management, Operations Management, Project Management, or Customer Account Management.
• Proven experience managing customer-facing service contracts.
• Previous experience in aviation, airport services, Ground Support Equipment (GSE), engineering services, industrial maintenance or technical services will be highly valued.
• Strong experience in operational performance management and KPI monitoring.
• Demonstrated ability to manage large operational teams and complex multi-site activities.

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Aviation Management or a related discipline.
