As a Contract Management Specialist, you will own sourcing cases end-to-end — from gathering requirements and developing sourcing strategies to executing RFx activities, analyzing supplier proposals, negotiating commercial terms, and preparing the final handoff to Legal/Contracting Operations.
You will work closely with business stakeholders, suppliers, and internal teams while maintaining strict confidentiality and compliance throughout the sourcing process.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage sensitive sourcing case intake while maintaining strict access controls and data confidentiality.
- Partner with stakeholders to validate requirements, gather documentation, and develop sourcing strategies.
- Create Opportunity Overviews (OO) covering baseline spend, market constraints, and recommended sourcing strategies.
- Own sourcing cases in procurement tools and maintain accurate, restricted-access records.
- Conduct market research and supplier pre-qualification.
- Prepare and securely distribute RFx bid packages using approved e-sourcing tools.
- Manage supplier communications, Q&A cycles, timelines, presentations, and evaluation processes.
- Analyze and normalize supplier bids using quantitative and qualitative evaluation methods.
- Develop scoring matrices and Project Outcome Alignment (POA) reports to support sourcing decisions.
- Conduct rate-card benchmarking, scenario modeling, and financial validation.
- Lead commercial and contractual negotiations for complex sourcing categories.
- Manage award/non-award communications and finalize pricing tables, SOWs, SLAs, and other commercial exhibits.
- Coordinate secure handoff of completed sourcing packages to Legal/Contracting Operations.
- Manage Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) workflows and ensure required security and privacy reviews are completed before award.
- Track operational metrics such as Turnaround Time (TAT), Hard/Soft Savings, and Spend Under Management (SUM).
- Identify sourcing process bottlenecks and improve SOPs, playbooks, templates, and workflows.
- Support process improvements and automation initiatives while maintaining procurement compliance.
Must-Have Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, Economics, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, indirect procurement, project management, or supply chain operations.

- Professional Services
- Corporate Security
- Experience building cost-benefit analyses and spend analytics.
- Experience using data visualization tools to communicate insights.
- Understanding of commercial contract terms, legal structures, and negotiation levers.
- Demonstrated experience influencing stakeholders and managing expectations in fast-paced or ambiguous environments.
- Experience working within strict corporate compliance frameworks.
- Demonstrated process-improvement experience, including identifying workflow inefficiencies and implementing improvements or automation.
Good-to-Have
- Professional certification in procurement, strategic sourcing, or supply chain management.
- Certifications such as CPSM, MCIPS, or CSCP are highly preferred.
