Job summary

SN Aboitiz Power Group is seeking a highly capable Contract and Commercial Manager to lead the operational and commercial management of large-scale renewable energy and energy storage projects. You will oversee the negotiation and execution of EPC contracts and SLAs from feasibility through construction.

Reporting to the AVP and Head of Project Development, you will ensure projects remain economically viable, profitable, and compliant with all contractual requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or Pre-Law.
• At least five years of related experience focusing on strategic planning, management, and contract delivery in the power sector.
• Experience partnering with EPC contractors, government agencies, LGUs and local communities; renewable energy exposure.

Responsibilities

• Contract & Legal Management: Oversee EPC contracts and SLAs, manage variations or disputes, liaise with Legal team to mitigate risks.
• Financial & Budget Oversight: Develop financial management plan, estimate costs, document controls, manage project budget for cost-efficiency.
• Procurement & Supplier Engagement: Drive procurement processes to secure supplier capabilities and interact with Owners’ Engineers, EPC contractors, subcontractors.
• Stakeholder Interfaces: Interface with Finance, Supply Chain, Regulatory, HR, and other groups to balance goals and achieve consensus.
• Reporting & Transparency: Maintain accurate reporting on operational and commercial aspects, update management and stakeholders on milestones.

Job description

SN Aboitiz Power Group is searching for a highly capable Contract and Commercial Manager to lead the operational and commercial management of our large-scale renewable energy and energy storage projects. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the negotiation and execution of EPC contract agreements and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) from the feasibility phase all the way through construction.

Reporting to the AVP and Head of Project Development, you will ensure our projects remain economically viable, profitable, and compliant with all legal and contractual requirements.

What You Will Do:

• Contract & Legal Management: Oversee and deliver EPC contracts and SLAs, managing any contract variations or disputes, and liaising with the Legal team to mitigate project risks.
• Financial & Budget Oversight: Develop the financial management plan, estimate costs, document financial control processes, and strictly manage the Project budget to ensure cost-efficiency.
• Procurement & Supplier Engagement: Drive procurement processes to secure the right supplier capabilities and interact closely with Owner’s Engineers, EPC contractors, and subcontractors.
• Stakeholder Interfacing: Interface with functional groups (Finance, Supply Chain, Regulatory, HR, etc.) and use strong interpersonal skills to balance competing goals and achieve consensus among project stakeholders.
• Reporting & Transparency: Maintain accurate, transparent reporting on operational and commercial aspects, regularly updating management, shareholders, and stakeholders on project milestones.

Qualifications We Are Looking For:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or Pre-Law.
• Experience: At least five (5) years of related working experience focusing on strategic planning, management, and contract delivery within the power sector (specifically involving power plants, transmission lines, and substations).
• Expertise: Proven success in multidimensional project delivery, budget management, and working alongside EPC contractors, government agencies, LGUs, and local communities. Knowledge of large-scale renewable energy and energy storage structures is a must
