Job summary

The Nielsen Company is seeking a Global Schedule Editor to manage metadata editing and ongoing maintenance of media databases for audiovisual content. You will edit TV scheduling information, verify listings, and enrich data with accurate metadata within deadlines.

You will research and link programs to internal databases, ensure timely delivery of reliable information, and respond to communications from global teams.

Qualifications

• Business-level English proficiency with excellent written and spoken skills.
• Proficient in MS Office and/or G-Suites.
• Strong internet research abilities and data gathering skills.
• High attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to work in a 24/7 operation including evenings and weekends.
• Knowledge of international TV shows and media sector is a plus.
• Inquisitive and proactive learner with logical thinking.

The Global Schedule Editor performs metadata editing functions related to the ongoing maintenance and creation of media databases and content, specifically in the audiovisual sphere.

Responsibilities

• Verify and process TV Listings information and enrich with required metadata into the local data management system within the given duration and deadline.
• Data entry and editing of TV scheduling information.
• Research content from reliable sources, validate and maintain accurate schedule data.
• Research and link inbound programs to internal databases.
• Ensure on-time delivery of accurate and reliable information.
• Respond to emails and other communications from global teams professionally.
• Complete daily tasks and responsibilities diligently.

Qualifications

• Business-level English proficiency: excellent written and spoken English skills.
• Working knowledge of MS Office and/or G-Suites
