Job summary

Onward Worldwide Management & Consultancy is seeking a Vendor Compliance Assistant to verify vendor legitimacy, monitor performance on active sites, and ensure contractors meet permits and licenses. The role escalates issues through barangay and regulatory channels when vendors misbehave or fail to comply.

You will maintain CI documents, track permit expirations, coordinate with Project Management, Legal, Finance, and Admin, and prepare regular compliance reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
• 2–3 years of vendor management, procurement, compliance, contract administration or related work
• Construction industry experience or handling technical/vendor projects is a plus
• Familiarity with PCAB licensing and barangay conciliation processes (Katarungang Pambarangay)
• Strong documentation and escalation skills
• Excellent negotiation and clear communication abilities
• Willingness to visit barangay offices, government agencies, and vendors' offices as required

Responsibilities

• Verify vendor CI before engagement and at regular intervals
• Review and validate vendor documents (PCAB license, permits, registrations)
• Maintain CI document tracker and monitor permit expirations
• Monitor vendor attendance and progress on active construction sites
• Identify vendors who have abandoned, underperformed, or become unresponsive
• Issue formal written demands/notices to non-compliant vendors
• Escalate matters to barangay, PCAB, SEC, or legal counsel as needed
• Maintain records of vendor communications and filings
• Prepare regular compliance status reports for management
• Coordinate with Project Management, Legal, Finance, Admin and others on vendor matters
