Job summary

Thermovar Pipes Sales and Services is seeking a capable Project Engineer to direct, organize, and implement project activities under the Project Manager’s guidance. You will ensure effective site operations, coordinate meetings, read drawings and specs, monitor workmanship, track progress, and report issues that may affect client relations to the project team and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Must have Bachelor's/College Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Mechanical/Civil/Sanitary).
• At least two years of experience in the related field.
• At least one year experience in vertical/horizontal construction.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to read and understand drawings and specifications.
• Strong problem solving and decision making skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (documents, spreadsheets, presentations).

Responsibilities

• Direct, organize, and implement project activities under the direction of the Project Manager.
• Ensure effective site works/operations to meet contract obligations.
• Attend site coordination meetings and inform the Project Manager of status and issues.
• Maintain proper installation at site per construction and shop drawings.
• Coordinate between project site and management including manpower, materials, and equipment.
• Prepare daily accomplishment reports and communicate project status and issues.
