Job description

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage detailed project schedules using project management software (e.g., Primavera P6)
• Set project milestones and timelines, ensuring alignment of all construction activities
• Update project schedules regularly, reflecting progress, delays, and any changes in project scope or requirements
• Work closely with project managers and teams to ensure effective planning and execution of project phases
• Review and analyze construction contracts to ensure adherence to terms and conditions
• Monitor the progress of work to ensure that contractual requirements are being met, including timelines, quality standards, and safety regulations
• Coordinate with legal, procurement, and project management teams to resolve any issues related to contract performance
• Oversee the allocation of resources (labor, materials, equipment) to ensure that the project progresses according to schedule and budget
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials
• Track and manage resource utilization to prevent over- or under-allocation
• Ensure all parties (clients, subcontractors, suppliers, etc.) comply with the terms specified in the contract and mitigate any risk of non-compliance
• Track and document contract-related changes, amendments, and claims, and ensure proper reporting to stakeholders

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
• Certification in Project Management or Contract Management is a plus

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in project planning, scheduling, or contract management in the construction industry
• Proven experience using project management software such as Primavera P6
• Experience in managing construction contracts, including monitoring compliance and addressing contract-related issues
• Experience managing large-scale construction projects is preferred
