Job summary

Philippine Geoanalytics, Inc. is seeking a Safety Officer to ensure compliance with occupational health and safety (OHS) standards across project sites in Laguna. The role involves planning, implementing, and monitoring safety programs to maintain a safe and compliant work environment for all personnel.

The position requires preparing safety documents, conducting toolbox talks, and coordinating with the client’s Safety Officer, with regular reporting to DOLE as required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare safety documents and requirements prior to the start of project implementation.
• Plan daily project activities in accordance with safety guidelines and applicable laws.
• Conduct daily toolbox meetings to promote safety awareness among site personnel.
• Develop, implement, and promote occupational safety and health (OSH) programs in the workplace.
• Prepare and maintain site health and safety boards, ensuring proper placement of safety signages in conspicuous locations.
• Coordinate regularly with the client's Safety Officer or Safety Manager regarding site safety matters.
• Report any safety violations or unsafe practices to the Project Manager.
• Prepare and submit regular reports on safety performance and statistics to DOLE as required.
