Job summary

MEGA PHILIPPINES, INC. is seeking dedicated Safety Officers to join project teams in Makati City. You will monitor site safety, conduct inspections, and ensure compliance with safety rules to minimize risks.

The role requires a Bachelor's in safety-related field, COSH certification, and knowledge of DOLE standards. Strong communication and ability to coordinate with teams on site are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Engineering, or related field.
• COSH certification and other safety certificates.
• Knowledge of DOLE Occupational Safety and Health Standards.
• Strong hazard identification, safety documentation, and incident reporting skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Willing to be assigned to Makati City project sites.
• Experience in construction, geotechnical, or drilling projects is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily site operations to ensure compliance with safety rules, standards, and procedures.
• Conduct site inspections, hazard identification, and risk assessments.
• Ensure proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Facilitate safety orientations, toolbox meetings, and safety training.
• Assist in the investigation and reporting of incidents, near-misses, and accidents.
• Maintain documentation and prepare safety reports as required.
• Coordinate with the project and management teams to improve overall safety performance.
