Job summary

SYC Philippines Corporation seeks a Safety Supervisor to ensure health, safety and wellbeing on construction sites in Pasig City, Metro Manila. This full-time role focuses on implementing and monitoring safety policies to maintain a safe working environment.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of experience in construction safety, strong knowledge of health, safety and environmental regulations, and excellent communication skills. NEBOSH or IOSH certification is desirable.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for liaising with workers and management.
• Knowledge of health, safety and environmental regulations and best practices.
• Ability to think critically, problem-solve and make sound judgments in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Generates Safety Plan and Risk Assessments in coordination with Process Owners.
• Enforces all safe systems of work and conducts toolbox talks and safety training.
• Audits unsafe acts and reports findings to the Project Manager.
• Conducts orientation for new employees and site inspections to identify hazards.
• Maintains records and reports on safety performance and initiatives.
• Investigates incidents and implements corrective measures.
