Job summary

The Moment Group in Makati City, Metro Manila is seeking a Purchasing Coordinator (Construction) on a full-time basis. This role supports procurement operations, sourcing construction materials, and maintaining supplier relationships to ensure cost-effective purchasing for projects.

The ideal candidate has a degree in Commerce, Engineering, or a related field and 1–2 years of purchasing experience, preferably in construction. Strong Excel and organizational skills are essential to succeed.

Qualifications

• Commerce, Engineering or related field is preferred.
• 1–2 years of experience in purchasing/procurement, especially construction materials.
• Roles include Purchasing Assistant/Coordinator/Procurement Clerk or similar in construction or manufacturing.
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel; experience with purchasing/inventory software.

Responsibilities

• Process purchase requisitions and create purchase orders for construction materials, equipment and supplies.
• Liaise with suppliers for quotations, pricing information and delivery schedules.
• Maintain records of purchase orders, invoices and supplier information in the system.
• Monitor delivery schedules and follow up with vendors for timely receipt of materials.
• Assist in inventory management and tracking of construction materials.
• Prepare purchasing reports for management review.
• Coordinate with receiving to verify deliveries against POs.
• Assist in vendor evaluation and performance monitoring.
• Support cost analysis and procurement savings opportunities.
• Perform general administrative duties for the purchasing department.
