Job summary

Penbrothers International is seeking a detail-oriented Project Accounting Specialist for our US-based On Your Lot division. You will manage project-level financial tracking, bank draws, and POC reporting, coordinating with buyers, field staff, lenders and internal teams.

This remote role requires strong English, Excel proficiency, and experience in real estate or construction cost tracking. You will ensure accurate reporting, closeouts, and timely fund disbursements, supporting project execution

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
Proven experience as a Project Accountant, Cost Accountant, or Financial Analyst handling project cost tracking, budgets, cash flow, and financial reconciliations for US-based real estate, construction, or homebuilding companies.
Solid understanding of POC, job costing, gross margin analysis, and over/under billings.
Strong analytical capability with a critical eye for data integrity.

Responsibilities

Monthly cost reporting to OYL homeowners, auditing files and updating costs.
Coordinate OYL bank draws with field staff and assemble documents for banks.
Monitor buyer deposits and adherence to the sales contract deposit schedule.
Track accounts payables for OYL entities and escalate payment lists twice monthly.
Review General Ledger transactions and ensure allocations hit projects correctly.
