Job summary

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in purchasing or procurement.
• Familiarity with construction materials and supply chain requirements.
• Proven experience in procurement or supply chain roles, preferably in construction.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to analyze and compare costs, quality, and delivery terms.
• Highly organized with time management and attention to detail.
• Proficient in MS Office and basic inventory/purchasing software or ERP systems.

• Source and evaluate suppliers of construction materials, goods, and services.
• Negotiate and secure cost-effective contracts with suppliers.
• Place bulk orders and manage purchase orders per project schedules.
• Prepare and submit cost analysis reports and purchasing summaries for management.
• Review and ensure quality of products prior to procurement.
• Coordinate with suppliers, logistics teams, and warehouse staff for deliveries.
• Maintain complete records of orders, payments, receipts, and supplier communications.
• Report damaged or faulty purchases immediately.
