Job summary

Doza Group Inc. is seeking a Purchasing Officer to source and purchase construction materials, tools, equipment, and services for projects. You will coordinate with suppliers, compare quotations, negotiate terms, and prepare POs to ensure on-time delivery at the right cost.

The role requires 2–4 years in procurement, familiarity with construction materials, strong Excel skills, and the ability to manage multiple orders under deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of purchasing/procurement experience, preferably in construction.
• Proficient in Excel and purchasing documentation.
• Familiar with construction materials and supplier sourcing.
• Strong negotiation, canvassing, and supplier-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Source and canvass construction materials, tools, equipment, and services.
• Obtain and compare quotations from multiple suppliers.
• Negotiate prices, payment terms, lead times, and delivery schedules.
• Prepare and process Purchase Orders (POs) and purchasing documentation.
• Coordinate closely with Project Engineers/PICs, QS, and suppliers regarding requirements.
• Monitor all outstanding orders and ensure on-time delivery to project sites.
• Follow up suppliers proactively to avoid delays.
• Verify that purchased items comply with approved specifications, quantities, and requirements.
• Develop and maintain a reliable database of suppliers and subcontractors.
• Continuously identify alternative suppliers and opportunities for cost savings.
