Job summary

Chinabank Philippines seeks an Compliance and Risk Associate to support the Compliance and Risk Department of TAMG. You will monitor regulatory developments, maintain compliance documentation, and assist in risk management activities to align policies with regulatory requirements and best practices.

The role includes secretariat support to key committees, coordinating with internal stakeholders, and performing administrative duties to uphold high standards of compliance and governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Legal Management, or related field.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply; professional experience not required.
• General knowledge of business, economics, and finance.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Knowledge of visual graphic design platforms is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Monitor regulatory developments and assist in preparation of advisories within the Group.
• Maintain an organized repository of relevant laws, regulations, and issuances.
• Assist in updating policies, procedures, and operations manuals.
• Support investment and trading risk management activities and monitor risk metrics.
• Track audit findings, exceptions, and commitments to resolution.
• Monitor garnishment, freeze orders, and hold-out instructions from regulators.
• Provide secretariat support to committees, including records and minutes.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to support compliance and governance objectives.
