Job summary

Dempsey Resource Management Inc. in Makati is seeking a Compliance Officer to join our government-regulated operations. The role requires 2–5 years in compliance, audit, risk management or regulatory affairs, with a Bachelor's degree in a related field.

On-site work, Philippines location, salary Php50,000 with performance bonus expectations. You will develop policies, monitor regulatory changes, and liaise with authorities such as SEC, AMLC and NPC.

Responsibilities

• Be abreast of regulations on non-bank financial institutions, AMLC and NPC
• Develop and implement a compliance program to meet BSP, SEC, AMLC and NPC regulations
• Serve as primary contact with regulatory examinations and findings
• Design compliance metrics and tracking systems
• Sign off on marketing collateral and product development for regulatory compliance
• Perform compliance audits and identify improvement areas
• Maintain up-to-date written documentation and policies
• Create staff resources for reference and guidance
• Other duties assigned by Management

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Be abreast and knowledgeable with regulations on non-bank financial institutions (from the MORNBF), anti-money laundering (from the AMLC) and data privacy (from the NPC).
• Help craft and propose compliance policies and procedures based on above regulations.
• Develop and implement a compliance program to ensure the company operates in accordance with BSP, SEC, AMLC and NPC regulations.
• Be the primary point person in dealing with the examination and findings of the above-mentioned regulatory agencies.
• Design compliance metrics and establish a system for tracking them.
• Sign off on any marketing, advertising collateral and product development to ensure it is compliant to regulations.
• Perform compliance audits to determine whether established protocols and procedures are being followed and where they can be improved.
• Help maintain up to date written documentation and policies related to the organization's business activities.
• Create compliance resources for staff members to reference when they have question.
• Such other task as may, from time to time, be assigned by the Management.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Legal Management, or a related field
• 2–5 years of relevant experience in compliance, audit, risk management, regulatory affairs, or corporate governance
• Knowledge of laws, regulations, company policies, and regulatory requirements relevant to the industry
• Experience in monitoring and ensuring regulatory compliance

Preferred/Advantageous

• Certification in Compliance, Risk Management, Internal Audit, or related fields
• Background in legal or regulatory compliance
• Experience with ISO standards, AML/KYC, data privacy, or industry-specific regulations, depending on the company
• Familiarity with Philippine regulatory bodies such as SEC, BIR, DOLE, BSP, or PSE, depending on the industry

SALARY: Php50,000
