Job summary

Dempsey Resource Management is seeking a compliance specialist to oversee adherence to non-bank financial institutions regulations in Makati. The role involves developing compliance policies, serving as a point of contact for regulatory bodies, conducting audits, and maintaining compliance documentation. The preferred candidate will ensure that all business practices comply with BSP, SEC, AMLC, and NPC standards. The position offers a competitive salary of 50K PHP for a Monday to Friday schedule, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Responsibilities

• Be abreast and knowledgeable with regulations on non-bank financial institutions.
• Help craft and propose compliance policies and procedures.
• Develop and implement a compliance program to ensure regulatory adherence.
• Be the primary point person for regulatory examinations and findings.
• Design compliance metrics and establish a tracking system.
• Sign off on marketing materials to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Perform compliance audits and suggest improvements.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation and policies.
• Create compliance resources for staff references.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by Management.

Job description

Duties And Responsibilities

• Be abreast and knowledgeable with regulations on non-bank financial institutions (from the MORNBFI), anti-money laundering (from the AMLC) and data privacy (from the NPC).
• Help craft and propose compliance policies and procedures based on above regulations.
• Develop and implement a compliance program to ensure the company operates in accordance with BSP, SEC, AMLC and NPC regulations.
• Be the primary point person in dealing with the examination and findings of the aforementioned regulatory agencies.
• Design compliance metrics and establish a system for tracking them.
• Sign off on any marketing, advertising collateral and product development to ensure it is compliant to regulations.
• Perform compliance audits to determine whether established protocols and procedures are being followed and where they can be improved.
• Help maintain up to date written documentation and policies related to the organization's business activities.
• Create compliance resources for staff members to reference when they have questions.
• Perform other tasks as may, from time to time, be assigned by the Management.

Salary: 50K

Work location: Legaspi Village Makati City

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9 a.m.–5 p.m.
