Visa is seeking an experienced compliance professional in the Philippines to investigate rules violations and oversee enforcement programs. The role focuses on data analysis, stakeholder engagement, and developing strategies to minimize brand risk across the Visa network.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years’ experience, strong communication skills, and a proven ability to translate business needs into compliant, actionable outcomes. Office presence is required several days weekly.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of extensive relevant work experience with a bachelor’s degree.
• Strong interpersonal skills and proven abilities in negotiating and influencing clients and staff at all levels, including strong written and verbal communications skills.
• Excellent writing and verbal skills to convey complex topics in “plain English”.
• Strong analytical aptitude and demonstrated track record of working with data to develop business-oriented solutions.
• Experience gathering business requirements and translating needs into successful deliverables.
• Ability to represent technical and business issues and solutions to multiple levels internally and externally.
• Excellent research and analytical skills and advanced planning, organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working cross-culturally and in remote situations and ability to effectively work under pressure and adhering to tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring clients are compliant with the rules via monitoring, investigating and validating the compliance status of clients and, where necessary, pursuing corrective and negotiated actions to bring them into compliance.
• Tracking and control of enforcement actions plans as submitted by clients and ensuring they are managed through resolution.
• Providing consultation on Visa rules and compliance program requirements and where required minimal training to support program enforcement.
• Creating analysis of transaction data and various research to identify non-compliant activity or trends.
• Provide Clients and Visa internal stakeholders with accurate interpretation and analysis of the Visa Rules in response to inquiries and/or questions related to compliance activities and ensure understanding and compliance with the Visa Rules.
• Ensuring all management information statistics, reporting and performance criteria and trends relating to enforcement are collated and analyzed, and fed back to team members to help define the compliance strategy for Visa Inc. globally and regionally.
• Assist the regional CIE Team Lead in preparation of the annual strategy, budget, objectives and plans to support the relevant compliance programs.
• Participating in the development of new and modification of existing compliance initiatives to align with CIE objectives, Visa strategy and objectives.
• Managing internal and external relations within the context of compliance enforcement (NCAs) and processes escalating where appropriate to CIE senior management with the intention of ensuring minimal brand and reputational risk exposure to the Visa Inc. enterprise.
• Establishing and maintaining relationships with clients and internal stakeholders in the region and globally as it relates to the responsibilities of the CIE team; participating in activities in relation to inquiries or action plans as required.
• Execution of rules compliance procedures developed and updated over time as the function progresses.
• Management of multiple compliance actions with business function owners at any one time and prioritizing as appropriate.
