Job summary

Manulife Group is seeking an Operations Analyst to support the Insurance Operations team in handling advisor compensation across multiple channels. You will ensure accurate payments by validating entries, applying bonuses, and processing necessary wires.

Key duties include responding to inquiries, creating tax duplicates, handling EFT issues, and meeting audit and service deadlines. Strong Excel skills and attention to detail are essential in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in accounting, finance, or related field.
• Strong written and verbal English communication.
• Intermediate Excel skills with formulas and data analysis.
• Detail oriented with ability to handle high-volume transactions.
• Analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to write clear business communications.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Math, Economics, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Validate advisor compensation accuracy and process entries as required.
• Apply bonuses and fund wires within service standards.
• Respond to complex inquiries and provide expert recommendations.
• Create tax duplicates for T4A/Releve.
• Manage returned cheques and EFT rejects and stale dated cheques.
• Manually calculate and upload compensation calculations and advances.
• Prioritize workflow for regular commission runs and deadlines.
• Identify and recommend process improvements.
• Log problems and enhancements for investigation; escalate when needed.
• Manage day-to-day workflow with independent decision-making.
• Collaborate with internal departments to resolve errors.
• May be required to handle call outs; perform other duties as assigned.
