Job summary

Manulife is seeking a Financial Control Analyst to perform structured financial and accounting activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance. You will handle journal entries, period close, and reporting while collaborating with HR on compensation costs.

The role requires 3–5 years in accounting processes (R2R, P2P, O2C) and strong knowledge of IFRS/US GAAP, with ERP experience. A CPA is preferred, and the work location is in Metro Manila.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA (or equivalent professional certification) preferred.
• 3 to 5 years’ relevant experience in accounting processes (R2R, P2P, O2C) and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Record-to-Report execution with accurate journal entries and sub-ledger reconciliation.
• Own month-end close, including accruals, reclasses, and sign-off on entries.
• Analyze and oversight benefits and compensation costs; coordinate with HR on payroll inputs.
• Support financial reporting and compliance for statutory and management reports.
• Provide ad-hoc analyses and support system enhancements and automation.
