Job summary

DWS Compensation Control – Associate in Manila is a key finance role within the CFO division, focusing on delivering timely compensation P&L and balance sheet reporting. You will work with SMEs to analyze compensation costs, support deferred compensation data work, and ensure accurate month-end close with rigorous controls.

The role emphasizes strong analytical abilities, stakeholder engagement, and proactive use of AI tools to improve processes, with a hybrid work model and progression

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with experience in financial controller role or auditor role in a large financial institution/Big 4
• IAS19 and IFRS2 experience is a plus but not essential
• High level of control mindset and investigative approach
• Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills
• Proactive, curious and willing to learn new skills/knowledge
• Excellent stakeholder management and interpersonal skills
• Ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity while applying judgment

Responsibilities

• Produce and manage timely delivery of monthly reports on compensation P&L and balance sheet
• Collaborate with Compensation Control SMEs to provide analysis and commentaries on cost trends and deviations from forecast/plan
• Support data aggregation, analysis and reporting for deferred compensation
• Develop understanding of deferred compensation and provide backup support to SMEs
• Perform month-end journals and ensure accuracy/completeness of financials
• Manage month-end close and ensure numbers are reported accurately with timely adjustments
• Perform validation and control on assigned compensation topics
• Prepare documentation and updates of the DWS Compensation Control Framework
