Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with experience as financial controller or auditor in a large financial institution.
• Strong analytical and governance mindset.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to connect topics affecting the compensation book and controls.
• Proactive, curious, and willing to improve processes.

Responsibilities

• Produce and manage timely delivery of monthly reports on compensation P&L and balance sheet.
• Collaborate with Compensation Control SMEs to analyze cost trends and deviations.
• Support data aggregation, analysis and reporting for deferred compensation.
• Develop understanding of deferred compensation and provide backup to SMEs.
• Perform month-end journals and ensure accuracy of financials.
• Be the point of contact to manage month-end close and ensure accurate reporting.
• Perform validation and control on assigned compensation topics.
• Prepare documentation and updates of the DWS Compensation Control Framework.
