Job summary

Deutsche Bank AG's DWS division is hiring a qualified accountant to join the CFO financial governance team in Manila. You will produce monthly compensation P&L and balance sheet reports, partner with compensation control SMEs, and support deferred compensation analytics.

We seek a strong control mindset, experience in financial controller or auditing in a large institution, and excellent Excel/PowerPoint skills. Hybrid work arrangement and ongoing training are offered.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with experience in a financial controller or auditor role in a large financial institution.
• Experience with IAS19 and IFRS2 is a plus.
• Strong control mindset and analytical skills.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Produce and manage monthly reports on compensation profit & loss and balance sheet.
• Collaborate with Compensation Control SMEs on cost trends and deviations from forecast.
• Support data aggregation, analysis and reporting in deferred compensation.
• Develop understanding of deferred compensation and provide backup support to the SME.
• Perform month-end journals and ensure accuracy and completeness in our financials.
• Be a point of contact to manage month-end close and report late adjustments.
• Perform validation and control on assigned compensation topics.
• Prepare documentation and regular updates of the DWS Compensation Control Framework.
