Job summary

HRTX in the Philippines is seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to join our Healthcare account team. You will be the first point of contact for patients, providers, and insurers, delivering accurate information about benefits, eligibility, and medical services.

You will handle inbound and outbound calls, document interactions, ensure HIPAA compliance, and collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex issues with empathy and professionalism.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; college degree is a plus.
• At least 1 year of experience in a customer service role, healthcare preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance processes preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Empathetic, patient, and professional handling of sensitive health information.
• Proficient in CRM, call center software, and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound and outbound calls related to patient inquiries, insurance claims, billing, and healthcare services
• Provide accurate and timely information regarding benefits, eligibility, and claims status
• Resolve customer issues efficiently while maintaining empathy and professionalism
• Document call interactions and updates in the system following data privacy guidelines
• Coordinate with healthcare providers and internal departments to resolve complex issues
• Uphold HIPAA compliance and ensure confidentiality of sensitive health information
• Meet or exceed performance metrics such as call quality, resolution time, and customer satisfaction
