About the role
This is an on-site occupational health and safety nursing role responsible for providing treatment to work-related injuries, developing and implementing health safety programs, maintaining medical records, and serving as the primary point of contact for employee healthcare coordination and enrollment with healthcare providers.
Key responsibilities
- Respond and provide onsite treatment to work-related injuries
- Develop and implement health safety programs including health counselling to employees
- Maintain accurate employee individual medical records
- Maintain and submit all required reports to management and government agencies such as DOLE, SSS
- Evaluate and administer first aid medicine and treatment to employees and recommend intervention by the doctor if needed
- Serve as main point of contact for timely enrollment, deletion, and updates in coverage with healthcare provider
- Coordinate with company's healthcare provider for Annual Physical Exam and any medical assistance needed for employees
- Provide assistance in completion of all medical data and documents needed for sanitary permit
- Assess pre-employment medical examination results as neededComply with DOLE's health and safety environment guidelines
About you
- Licensed Nurse
- BOSH Certified (compliant with other certifications required by DOLE)
- At least 3 years of experience as company nurse (same industry a plus)
- Well versed in occupational health and safety practices
- Highly organized, a self-starter and works independently, preferably with multiple deliverables simultaneously
- Critical thinker with adequate level of attention to detail, capable and reliable to notice data inaccuracies and discrepancies
- Good communication skills to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders
- Can effectively collaborate with cross functional groups
- Willing to work between morning and mid shift
