About the role
The Company Nurse will provide basic occupational health services, first aid, emergency response, health monitoring, and medical assistance for two sister companies operating at the same location. The nurse will be stationed at one shared company clinic and will support employees from both companies while coordinating with HR/Admin, Plant Heads, Safety/HSE personnel, and external healthcare providers when necessary.
Key responsibilities
- Provide immediate first aid and basic nursing care to employees who become ill or injured at work
- Assess employee health concerns and determine appropriate first-aid management, referral, or medical attention
- Respond to workplace accidents, injuries, and medical emergencies and assist in coordinating emergency transport or hospital referral when required
- Maintain complete and confidential medical records, treatment logs, incident-related medical documentation, and other required health records
- Monitor employee health conditions and provide appropriate health-related advice within the scope of nursing practice
- Conduct basic health assessments, vital-sign monitoring, and other nursing procedures appropriate to the company clinic
- Assist in the implementation and monitoring of occupational health programs, including health surveillance, wellness activities, and preventive health initiatives
- Coordinate medical examinations, pre-employment and periodic medical requirements, and follow-up consultations as assigned
- Maintain adequate first-aid supplies, medicines, medical equipment, and clinic inventory; monitor expiration dates and replenishment requirements
- Coordinate with the Safety Officer / HSE personnel in workplace health and safety activities, emergency preparedness, and accident or incident response
About you
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent nursing degree recognized in the Philippines
- Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid Philippine PRC license
- Strong basic nursing and first-aid skills
- Good assessment, communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to respond calmly and appropriately during medical emergencies
- Able to maintain confidentiality and handle employee medical information responsibly
- Organized, detail-oriented, dependable, and able to work independently
- Basic computer skills for medical records, reports, and documentation
- Physically capable of responding to workplace medical emergencies and providing first aid
- Willing to undergo company-required training and comply with applicable occupational health and safety requirements
