Job Summary
The Company Nurse plays a vital role in supporting the organization's human resources functions while ensuring the health and well-being of employees. This position combines administrative HR responsibilities with nursing duties, focusing on monitoring employee health, managing leave requests, and implementing Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) programs in compliance with ISO 45001 standards.
Preferred Qualifications
- Must be a Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid license from PRC.
- Previous experience in HR or administrative support is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HR software.
- Familiar with DOLE Reportorial requirements and OSH standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Validates employee leave requests for sickness or hospitalization and maintain accurate records of leave balances.
- Prepare and consolidate all required data for Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) reports and forwards the data to Safety Officer.
- Validate all medical certifications submitted by employees to ensure compliance with company policies and provide approval to resume work or not. Forward IR of all employees who failed to comply with the Sickness Policy and submission of the required medical certification for the imposition of appropriate disciplinary action.
- Assist in the processing of Social Security System (SSS) sickness, maternity and disability benefits claims.
- Assist in the implementation and management of Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) programs in collaboration with the Safety Officer and HR.
- Assist in mental health initiatives and wellness programs to promote employee well-being.
- Maintains and update all health records of employees (APE, Accident, Injury, Illness, Drug, Vaccinations, etc).
- Oversee clinic and lactation room, ensure cleanliness, orderliness and proper use including necessary equipment and supplies necessary in the daily operation and management.
- Maintains and replenish clinic and lactation rooms supplies and equipment.
- Maintains accident and injury logbooks and conduct compliance audit of all logbooks from other facilities.
