Job summary

Good Shepherd Manufacturing Corporation is seeking a dedicated nurse to manage workplace health screenings and provide first aid to employees during work hours. The role includes documenting health events and supporting sick-leave processes.

The candidate should hold a nursing degree with a PRC license, have basic safety training, and at least one year of relevant experience. Proficiency in documentation and MS Word/Excel is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Screen employees’ health, perform first aid, and advise on illnesses or injuries during working hours.
• Monitor health status of employees on sick leave or quarantine.
• Assist HR with entry clearance for returning employees.
• Document all employee injuries and illnesses.
• Manage medical records and stock of medicines and supplies.
• Ensure compliance with safety laws and DOLE reporting.

Job Description

• Responsible for health condition screening, conducts first aid, and provides recommendations/endorsements to employees who fall ill or are caught in an accident during working hours.
• Monitors health conditions and reports the status of an employee who is on sick leave or under quarantine during a recommended/prescribed quarantine period.
• Assist HR in assessing and providing entry clearance for employees who are returning from their sick leave.
• Document all employee injuries and illnesses within the workplace.
• Documentation of medical records, monitor inventory of medicine and medical supplies and be in charge of the request for replenishment.
• Ensure compliance with safety and health labor laws, other DOLE reports, and other regulatory agencies

Job Qualifications

Qualification

• Bachelor's/College Degree in Nursing.
• A PRC License is a must

• Computer skills especially in MS Word and Excel
• Well-versed in documentation
