The Role
The Company Nurse will provide basic medical care and support within the office environment, ensuring the well-being of employees and maintaining a healthy workplace. This role involves performing medical assessments, administering treatments, and managing health-related administrative tasks. The Company Nurse will collaborate with local management and our healthcare partner/s and contribute to the development of workplace wellness programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct health assessments and provide first aid and emergency care as needed.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments according to established protocols as set by Department of Health.
- Maintain accurate and confidential medical records and documentation, this includes validating medical certificates and records submitted by employees in compliance with company policies.
- Coordinate with external healthcare providers for referrals and follow-up care such as annual physical examinations.
- Develop and implement workplace wellness programs and health education initiatives.
- Manage medical supplies and ensure the clinic area is well-stocked and organised.
- Provide support and guidance on health-related concerns and preventive care.
- Assist in maintaining a safe and healthy work environment, including compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Offer support and advice during employee health-related absences or accommodations.
- Collaborate with HR and management to address health-related issues and promote overall well being, this involves enrollment and cancellation of HMO being provided to team members.
- Create compliance reports submitted to local government in relation to Occupational Safety and Health and application for health government benefits.
The Requirements
- Registered Nurse (RN) license required; additional certifications in occupational health or similar fields preferred.
- Proven experience as a nurse, preferably in an office set up.
- Strong knowledge of workplace health and safety regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using medical and office software.
