Job summary

KMZD GROUP in Metro Manila seeks an onsite Occupational Health Nurse to deliver outpatient consultations, emergency care, and health services for employees. You will support HMO coordination, medical reimbursements, annual physical examinations, and OSH reporting, ensuring patient confidentiality and compliance with DOLE requirements.

The role requires maintaining medical records, coordinating with physicians, and providing first aid and psychological support as needed; BOSH and BLS/FA certs

Qualifications

• Licensed nurse with OSH and first-aid training.

Job Description:

• a. Provide daily outpatient consultation services within the scope allowed by the nursing profession;
• b. Provide nursing care in case of injury;
• c. Administer emergency and first-aid treatment on appropriate cases, including work-related traumas or injuries;
• d. Assist in transporting patients to the nearest hospital in emergency cases;
• e. Assist a qualified physician in conducting annual medical examinations of the client’s employees;
• f. Maintain and organize employee medical records and, if a physician is unavailable, prepare and submit an annual medical report using DOLE/BWC/HSD/OH-47 as required by the Bureau of Working Conditions;
• g. g. Submit periodic reports of work-related injuries as agreed upon by AVENTUS and the client;
• h. h. Prepare periodic reports of nursing services rendered to employees, indicating treatments or medicines prescribed, and safeguard the confidentiality of medical reports and health-related information of the client’s employees.
• i. HMO Coordination and Support – Manage and coordinate HMO-related matters with Intellicare, including employee health concerns, assistance, and benefit-related inquiries.
• j. Medical Reimbursement Administration – Coordinate, process, consolidate, and endorse medical reimbursement claims for both sites to Payroll team.
• k. Annual Physical Examination (APE) Management – Provide coordination, administrative support, and overall management of APE-related activities.
• l. OSH Compliance Reporting – Prepare and submit Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) compliance reports to DOLE and other relevant regulatory requirements.
• m. Health-Related Administrative Support – Perform other health-related administrative and employee support functions as needed.
• n. Medical Certificate/Document Review and Validation – Review and validate medical certificates and other health-related documents submitted by employees.
• o. Psychological First Aid – Provide initial psychological first aid and support to employees as necessary.
