The Wings Transit Hotel and Spa in Pasay City, Metro Manila is seeking a Commis Chef III to assist in cooking and production according to established recipes and standards. You will help prepare ingredients, sauces, stocks, and various kitchen requirements, while ensuring quality, portioning, and presentation across all cuisine lines.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's degree in Culinary Arts or related field and have prior Commis Chef experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Culinary Arts or related field.
• Experience as Commis Chef or in a similar kitchen role.
• Experience with Eastern, Western and Filipino cuisine.
• Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and kitchen operations.
• Good understanding of food safety and sanitation standards.

Responsabilités

• Assist in the preparation and cooking of food according to established recipes and standards.

• Assist with receiving, storing, and properly handling kitchen ingredients.
• Work closely with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth and timely food production.
• Assist in maintaining proper kitchen operations during busy service periods.

About you

• Previous experience as a Commis Chef or in a similar kitchen position is required
• Experience preparing Eastern, Western, and Filipino cuisine
• Knowledge of basic cooking techniques, food preparation, and kitchen operations
• Good understanding of food safety and sanitation standards
• Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment
• Team-oriented, disciplined, and willing to learn
• Willing to work on weekends, holidays, and shifting schedules
