Job summary

Nestlé is seeking a Commercial Planning Professional in the Philippines to enable sales execution by driving completeness and practicability of Trade Activities aligned with the category commercial plan.

The role emphasizes defining standards, managing cycle planning, and ensuring timely communication across Field Sales and Category teams. You will lead in evaluating activity effectiveness and driving continuous improvements in tools and processes.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Accountable for defining standards on planning and execution measurement for field sales and category.
• Run trade activities within channel capacity standards; assess store and distributor capacity.
• Check accuracy of activity details and KPIs as per Cycle Plan mechanics and objectives.
• Cascade Cycle Plan activities timely to Field Sales recipients and stakeholders.
• Track and report results versus KPIs; integrate field feedback for improvements.
• Lead tool/automation improvements to simplify the Commercial Planning process.
• Set and manage monthly Cycle Plan meetings between Channel and Category; ensure minutes are acted upon.
• Ensure adherence to company principles and policies.

Main Purpose of the Job:

Enabling sales to execute by driving completeness and practicability of Trade Activities that support the overall category commercial plan

Key Responsibilities:

• Accountable in creating defined standards on planning and execution measurement for both field sales and category to support agile execution and optimization of commercial plans
• Responsible for running all properly graded Trade activities of the salesman within Channel Capacity standards (capacity to execute of the salesman and merchandisers as well as store and distributor capacity in terms of space). Provide analysis and recommendation in cases of deviation from standards anchored on activity post evaluations.
• Responsible for checking correctness and accuracy of the activity details and KPIs according to the mechanics and objectives of the Cycle Plan activities
• Accountable for the timely cascade and communication of all Cycle Plan activities to identified recipients from Field Sales.
• Accountable for consistent, timely and accurate tracking and communicating results versus set KPIs. Responsible for collecting and integrating field feedback, execution details and updates to activity owners and relevant stakeholders.
• Lead in the recommendation and updates on improvements on tools and automation hinged on continuous process simplification of the Commercial Planning process
• Responsible for setting and managing the monthly Cycle Plan meeting between Channel and Category, ensuing the minutes of the meeting is available and acted upon by concerned parties.
