Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, engineering or a related field.
• At least 5 years of relevant commercial experience with managerial or supervisory roles.
• Experience in aviation, construction, engineering, contracting, or project-based industries preferred.
• Strong knowledge of contract management, project costing, pricing, budgeting and negotiations.
• Familiarity with variations, claims, progress billing and cost control.
• Proficient in Excel and relevant project management systems.
• Excellent leadership, negotiation, analytical and communication skills.
• Strong business acumen, attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements commercial strategies to maximize revenue, profitability, and growth.
• Oversees contract preparation, review, negotiation and administration with favorable terms.
• Monitors project costs, budgets, pricing, variations, claims, and obligations.
• Evaluates proposals, quotations, and cost estimates to support decisions.
• Manages commercial risks and recommends mitigation measures.
• Monitors financial performance, cash flow, billings, and collections.
• Coordinates with PM, Engineering, Procurement, Finance, and Business Development teams.
• Reviews reports, cost analyses, forecasts, and KPI performance for management.
• Ensures compliance with contracts, policies, and regulations; leads the commercial team.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develops and implements commercial strategies to maximize revenue, profitability, and business growth;
• Oversees contract preparation, review, negotiation, and administration, ensuring favorable commercial terms;
• Monitors project costs, budgets, pricing, variations, claims, and contractual obligations;
• Evaluates business proposals, supplier quotations, and cost estimates to support sound commercial decisions;
• Manages commercial risks, identifies potential liabilities, and recommends appropriate mitigation measures;
• Monitors project financial performance, profitability cash flow, billings, and collections;
• Coordinates with Project Management, Engineering, Procurement, Finance, and Business Development teams;
• Reviews commercial reports, cost analyses, forecasts, and performance indicators for management;
• Ensures compliance with contractual requirements, company policies, and applicable regulations;
• Leads and supervises the commercial team and improve commercial processes and controls.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Engineering, or a related field
• At least 5 years of relevant commercial experience, with managerial or supervisory experience.
• Experience in aviation, construction, engineering, contracting, or project-based industries is highly preferred
• Strong knowledge of contract management, project costing, pricing, budgeting, and commercial negotiations
• Familiarity with contract variations, claims, progress billing, and cost control
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and relevant business or project management systems
