Job summary

D2B is seeking a Joinery Estimator to support tendering and cost estimation for Australian commercial joinery projects. The role focuses on reviewing drawings, taking offs, pricing, and ERP-based workflow management.

You will prepare detailed cost estimates, source supplier quotes, and ensure accurate tender submissions while maintaining data within Innergy ERP for seamless collaboration across estimating, procurement, manufacturing and project teams.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in commercial joinery estimating.
• Hands-on experience with Innergy ERP.
• Ability to review drawings, specifications, and tender documents.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quantity take-offs and cost estimates for commercial joinery projects.
• Review architectural drawings, specifications, schedules, and tender documentation.
• Identify project scope, exclusions, assumptions, and potential estimating discrepancies.
• Source and obtain supplier and subcontractor quotations.
• Compare supplier pricing and incorporate relevant costs into estimates.
• Prepare accurate and complete tender submissions.
• Maintain estimating and project information within Innergy ERP.
• Verify quantities, pricing, and supporting information before submitting tenders.
• Communicate with clients and relevant stakeholders regarding tender requirements and clarifications.
• Coordinate with procurement, manufacturing, and project teams to ensure estimating information is accurate and complete.
• Maintain organised estimating records and documentation.
• Follow established estimating procedures and workflows.
