Job summary

MPT MOBILITY is seeking a driven Business Development Assistant Manager to identify viable non-toll ventures, develop financial models, and structure commercial opportunities. You will lead projects from ideation to commercialization and coordinate TORs with stakeholders.

The role requires 3–5 years in business development or related fields, with strong analytical and communication skills. Collaboration with Finance, Procurement, and Legal will be essential to drive investment-ready initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate new business opportunities in smart urban mobility, subscription-based services, and other non-toll ventures.
• Conduct market research, feasibility assessments, and commercial analysis to evaluate business opportunities.
• Develop investment-grade financial models, including DCF, NPV, IRR, scenario analysis, and sensitivity analysis.
• Develop business cases and recommend appropriate commercial and investment structures.
• Lead project planning and support initiatives from ideation, feasibility, and planning through commercialization.
• Develop comprehensive TORs and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders for procurement requirements.
• Prepare business proposals, presentations, investment materials, and recommendations for management review.
• Identify and engage potential partners, clients, vendors, and other strategic stakeholders.
• Support negotiations and structuring of commercial agreements and partnerships.
• Provide technical and analytical guidance to Senior Specialists and project teams.
• Monitor project progress, financial performance, business development pipelines, and key deliverables.
• Collaborate with Finance, Procurement, Operations, Legal, and other functions to ensure successful project implementation.

About the Role

We are looking for a driven Business Development Assistant Manager to support the development and commercialization of new, non-toll business opportunities under MPT Mobility. The role will focus on identifying viable investment opportunities, developing business cases and financial models, structuring projects, and supporting initiatives from ideation through commercialization.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate new business opportunities in smart urban mobility, subscription-based services, and other non-toll ventures.

• Conduct market research, feasibility assessments, and commercial analysis to evaluate business opportunities.

• Develop investment-grade financial models, including DCF, NPV, IRR, scenario analysis, and sensitivity analysis.

• Develop business cases and recommend appropriate commercial and investment structures.

• Develop comprehensive Terms of Reference (TORs) and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders for procurement requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.

• At least 3–5 years of experience in business development, investment analysis, corporate planning, consulting, project development, or a related commercial role.

• Strong experience in financial modeling and business case development, preferably with DCF, NPV, and IRR.

• Experience in project development, commercial structuring, feasibility studies, or investment evaluation.

• Experience developing TORs, procurement requirements, or project specifications is an advantage.

• Strong analytical, financial, problem-solving, and project management skills.

• Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

• Experience in mobility, transportation, logistics, infrastructure, technology, or other emerging business sectors is an advantage.

• Ability to manage multiple projects independently and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
