Job summary

East West Banking Corporation is seeking a Credit Analyst and Review Officer (CARE) to assess borrower creditworthiness and perform financial risk analyses. The role supports lending decisions by preparing Credit Offering Memos and collaborating with marketing for accurate credit processing.

Based in Metro Manila or Luzon, on-site. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years in corporate lending, strong credit/economic knowledge, and excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder-management

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Marketing, Commerce, Economics, Finance, Accounting, or Banking.
• At least 2 years of experience as an Account Officer or Credit Officer in commercial or corporate lending.
• Strong knowledge of credit evaluation, banking products, financial analysis, risk management, and industry research.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen business acumen.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Collaborative team player with solid stakeholder management skills.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive financial and credit analysis of prospective and existing clients.
• Prepare and present Credit Offering Memos (COMs) to support sound credit decisions.
• Evaluate risks and recommend appropriate credit structures and terms.
• Monitor borrower performance and identify early warning indicators.
• Recommend actions on restructuring, renewals, or collections when necessary.
• Collaborate with marketing teams to ensure accurate and timely credit processing.
