Job summary

San Miguel Integrated Logistics Services, Inc. (San Miguel Logistics) is seeking a Cost Analyst in the Finance / Commercial Pricing team to review costing computations for warehousing, handling, and transport services, and to provide data-supported recommendations on proposed service rates.

The role maintains the Rates database, analyzes cost structures, conducts variance analyses, prepares cost reports and profitability analyses, and collaborates on cost forecasts and annual budgets.

Qualifications

• BS Accountancy graduate; CPA is an advantage.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in cost accounting and financial planning.
• Basic knowledge of Tax Accounting.
• Proficient in MS Office and SAP.

Responsibilities

• Review and perform costing computations for warehousing, handling, and transport services.
• Provide data-supported recommendations to evaluate proposed service rates.
• Review profitability and endorse proposed rates based on costing.
• Maintain and monitor Rates database of Financial Management Group.
• Assist in analyzing cost structures and maintaining standard costing.
• Conduct variance analysis (actual vs. budget vs. standard) to identify discrepancies.
• Prepare cost reports and basic profitability analyses; highlight cost-saving areas.
• Collaborate on cost forecasts and annual budgets.

What you'll do

• Review and perform costing computations for the Company's warehousing, handling, and transport services.
• Provide data-supported recommendations to help evaluate proposed service rates.
• Review profitability and endorse the proposed rates of Company's services based on the set costing.
• Maintain and monitor Rates database of Financial Management Group.
• Assist in analyzing cost structures and maintaining standard costing.
• Conduct variance analysis (actual vs. budget vs. standard) to identify and explain discrepancies.
• Prepare cost reports, basic profitability analyses, and highlight areas for potential cost savings.
• Collaborate with the team in preparing cost forecasts and annual budgets.

What we're looking for

• Graduate of BS Accountancy
• CPA is an advantage
