Job summary

Zuspresso Philippines Inc. is seeking a skilled Coffee Equipment Technician to install, service, and repair espresso machines and related gear across Metro Manila. You will perform preventive maintenance, calibrations, and on-site diagnostics to ensure peak performance and brew quality.

Travel to client sites, proper reporting, and clear handover of preventive actions are required. A valid NCII or related experience, plus willingness to work shifting schedules and weekends, is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or vocational course required.
• NCII certificate or related work experience preferred.
• Willing to shift schedule and weekends/holidays.
• Willing to travel to client sites within Metro Manila.
• Has own motorcycle or able to drive is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install and set up espresso machines, grinders, and brewers.
• Perform preventive maintenance and calibrations to ensure brew quality.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, or hydraulic faults.
• Adjust machine settings (pressure, temperature, grind size) based on standards.
• Prepare and submit service reports and repair logs.
• Educate clients on proper machine usage and basic maintenance.
• Coordinate with suppliers for parts and warranties.
• Follow safety standards and travel to client sites as needed.
• Perform in-house diagnostics and repairs if field resolution is not possible.
• Stay updated with new models and service procedures.

JOB DESCRIPTION

1.Installation of Coffee Equipment

• Install and set up espresso machines, grinders, brewers, and in PH.

2.Preventive Maintenance

• Perform scheduled maintenance to ensure optimal machine performance.


• Calibrate machines and grinders to maintain brew quality.


• Clean internal and external components following manufacturer guidelines.

3. Troubleshooting and Repair

• Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, or hydraulic faults in coffee machines.


• Respond promptly to service calls and on-site breakdowns.


• Replace faulty parts (valves, solenoids, pumps, etc.) as necessary

4. Calibration and Quality Control

• Adjust machine settings such as pressure, temperature, and grind size based on coffee quality standards and client preferences.

5. Documentation and Reporting

• Prepare and submit service reports and repair logs.


• Record inventory usage and recommend parts for stock replenishment.

6. Customer Support and Training

• Educate clients on proper machine usage and basic maintenance.


• Provide troubleshooting tips and usage guidance to baristas or end-users.

7. Coordination with Suppliers and Authorized Dealers (Shaerer)

• Work with suppliers or authorized service providers for warranty claims, spare parts, and updates on machine technologies.

8. Compliance with Safety Standards

• Follow workplace safety protocols and ensure machines comply with local electrical and sanitation standards.

9. On-Call Availability and Field Work

• Willingness to travel to client sites across various locations (Luzon/Visayas/Mindanao as needed).


• Flexibility for weekend or holiday work if urgent repairs are required.

11. Workshop and In-House Repairs

• Perform more extensive diagnostics and repairs in the service center if field resolution is not possible.

12. Technical Knowledge Enhancement

• Stay updated with new models, brewing technologies, and service procedures.


• Attend trainings or manufacturer certifications when available.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Graduate or vocational course


• With NCII Certificate or at least have a WORK-RELATED EXPERIENCE to the position


• Willing on Shifting Schedule and Rotating Rest Day


• Willing to go to work during holidays and weekends


• Willing to travel from time to time within Metro Manila


• Has own motorcycle or knows how to drive is preferred


• Has experience in coffee machine repairs and maintenance
