Job summary

AXELUM RESOURCES CORP. is seeking an R&D Specialist to support the development and innovation of coconut-based products, including coconut water, milk, cream, and desiccated coconut.

You will perform formulation, prototyping, testing, and scale-up activities while collaborating with Production, QA, Marketing, and Regulatory teams to ensure technical soundness, cost-effectiveness, and readiness for commercial launch.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Food Technology, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biology, or related field.
• 2-4 years of experience in R&D, product development, or food manufacturing.
• Experience in beverage, fruit juice, or UHT product development and spray drying technology is an advantage.
• Familiar with HACCP, FDA regulations, and food safety systems.

Responsibilities

• Support development of new coconut-based food and beverage products from concept to commercialization.
• Execute product formulation, prototyping, testing, and scale-up trials.
• Assist in improving existing products and processes for cost, quality, and efficiency enhancements.
• Conduct sensory evaluation, physico-chemical testing, and product validation activities.
• Prepare technical documentation, product specifications, and regulatory requirements.
• Support production trials, troubleshooting, and post-launch product monitoring.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Production, QA, Sales, and Regulatory).
• Ensure compliance with food safety and quality systems (HACCP, FDA, Halal, etc.).
