Job summary

• Discuss project specifications with Technician Leaders and Supervisors to guarantee consistency between plans and products.
• Modify machine speed, tooling and cutting style with approvals.
• Oversee cutting process, adjust each job and eliminate errors.
• Maintain clear and honest communication at all times.
• Learn and apply latest knowledge to the work.
• Keep the work environment safe and organized.
• Follow Standards Operating Procedures.
• Continue production support and monitoring of product quality.

About the role

Ensuring that the appropriate process and procedures are adhered throughout manufacture in order to deliver parts to the highest quality standard. Provide further evaluation to the machine and or products that creates highest downtime to the process and finding the best solution to the problem.

Key responsibilities

• Determine the fixtures, attachments and tools necessary to complete jobs according to specifications, and mount them to machine prior to beginning cutting
• Discuss project specifications with Technician Leaders and Supervisors to guarantee consistency between plans and products, and collaborate to modify designs when existing ones are not feasible
• Modify machine speed, tooling and cutting style to ensure precision and accuracy and manufactured parts, with approval from Technician leader and Supervisor
• Oversee cutting process, make adjustment throughout each job, catch mistakes as they happen and take necessary measure to eliminate errors
• Maintain clear and honest communication at all times
• Learn and apply the latest knowledge to the work
• Keep the work environment safe and organized
• Follow Standards Operating Procedures
• Continue production support and monitoring of the quality of the product
