Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Direct staff and day-to-day operations to ensure quality customer service.
• Collaborate with Line Manager to set performance standards and ensure compliance with policies.
• Identify training needs and develop plans to address them.
• Develop relationships with existing and prospective clients and members.
• Increase monthly sign-ups and drive membership growth.
• Answer questions from staff and members politely and courteously.

General Summary

The Club Manager will direct and supervise the staff and day-to-day operations in the assigned branch location, ensuring delivery of quality customer service and achievement of sales or productivity goals.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborates with Line Manager to set performance standards based on financial and operational goals and required compliance with internal, local, and policies, procedures, and regulations
• Identifies training needs and opportunities; develops and implements a plan for meeting those needs
• Maintains and develops positive relationships with existing and prospective clients, demonstrating excellent customer service and setting an example for other staff
• Network and build lasting, professional relationships with guests and members, while constantly looking for ways to increase monthly sign-ups
• Work with a broad client base and capable team members
• Answer questions from staff and members in a polite and courteous manner
• Drive increased membership and meet monthly sales goals for membership
• Develop strong marketing plans to increase membership numbers
• Demonstrate good powers of observation and identify weaknesses before they become problematic
• Undertake duties as required for the successful completion of the role

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred
• At least three years of experience in the Fitness Industry with at least one year as a Club Manager highly preferred
