Job summary

Tyler Technologies is seeking a CloudOps Engineer in Manila to design, build, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure supporting ERP solutions used by governments and education entities.

You will develop and optimize cloud infrastructure, automate deployments, and ensure security and reliability while collaborating with top engineers on continuous improvements in cloud operations and software development.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in a cloud-focused DevOps/CloudOps or software engineering role, preferably AWS.
• 1+ year with at least one IaC toolset such as Terraform (preferred), CloudFormation, or AWS CDK.
• 1+ year working in a CI/CD environment, implementing and maintaining automation pipelines.
• 1+ year of Linux-based systems administration.
• 1+ year designing or maintaining highly available and secure cloud systems.
• 1+ year migrating and managing workloads in AWS.
• 1+ year of software development in an OO language (C#/.NET).
• 1+ year scripting with Bash or Python.
• Familiarity with core AWS services: EC2, VPC, ELB, RDS, Route 53, CloudWatch, S3.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD platforms such as Harness, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
• Experience with monitoring/observability tools like Datadog.
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture.
• Database knowledge a plus: PostgreSQL and MSSQL Server.
• AWS Certification is preferred but not required.
• Soft skills: problem-solving, collaboration, communication, self-motivation.
• Willingness to learn and drive DevOps/transformation initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead DevOps best practices and act as a thought leader across products and teams.
• Design, develop, and optimize CI/CD pipelines with multiple product teams.
• Enhance ERP hosting platform using IaC, configuration management, and event-driven infrastructure.
• Ensure secure, scalable, and resilient deployments in a cloud environment.
• Develop automation tools to streamline service deployment and monitoring for a distributed system.
• Drive DevOps transformation and advocate industry best practices.
• Provide on-call support to maintain system stability and reliability.
• Collaborate with internal and external teams to deliver efficient solutions.
• Foster continuous learning and knowledge sharing within the team.
• Offer constructive feedback to leadership to improve DevOps strategies.
