Job summary

Hammerjack Pty Ltd in Taguig is seeking a Senior Cloud Platform Engineer to design, deploy, and manage Kubernetes workloads across Google Cloud Platform and AWS. You will build reusable deployment templates, enable application teams, and embed security and governance into delivery while collaborating with security and DevSecOps teams.

You will own automation, IaC, and GitOps pipelines, monitor platform health, and help drive platform strategy and developer experience in a fast-paced healthcare

Qualifications

• Three+ years of cloud engineering with Kubernetes exposure.
• Hands-on with GCP/AWS and enterprise CI/CD platforms.
• Experience implementing GitOps and Infrastructure as Code.
• Understanding of DevSecOps, security controls, and compliance.
• Familiarity with Terraform, ArgoCD, Flux, and monitoring tools.

Responsibilities

Job Description

• Design, deploy, and manage containerised workloads and Kubernetes environments within Google Cloud/AWS.
• Build and enhance cloud platform capabilities using Infrastructure as Code and GitOps methodologies.

The Successful Applicant

• At least three years of experience in cloud engineering with strong exposure to Kubernetes and Google Cloud Platform/AWS.
• Hands-on experience supporting or administering enterprise CI/CD platforms, ideally within large-scale environments.
• Strong knowledge of containerisation, microservices, distributed systems, and modern application architectures.
• Experience implementing GitOps practices, Infrastructure as Code, and automated deployment pipelines.
• Understanding of DevSecOps principles, security controls, vulnerability management, and compliance requirements.
• Familiarity with tools such as Terraform, ArgoCD, Flux, Dynatrace, Prometheus, OPA, and container security platforms.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting capabilities with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Ability to thrive in complex, fast-paced, and evolving technology environments.
