Job summary

Tyler Technologies, Inc. is seeking a DevOps/Cloud Operations Engineer to support and enhance our financial management solutions in Manila.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to validate releases, manage AWS resources, and maintain Windows Server and SQL Server environments. The role emphasizes automation with Terraform and PowerShell, using GitHub for source control, and improving platform observability with Datadog, while participating in on-call rotations and pursuing relevant

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or equivalent.
• 2+ years in technical support, systems administration, DevOps, cloud operations, or related role.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience administering Windows Server and familiarity with SQL Server.
• Familiarity with AWS and scripting/infrastructure as code (PowerShell, Terraform or GitHub).

• Support deployments and release validation using Octopus Deploy and related delivery tools.
• Troubleshoot operational issues, document solutions, and reduce recurring manual work.
• Participate in the PagerDuty on-call rotation.
• Pursue relevant technical training and certifications.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Technical Support, Sales, Development, and Implementation teams to validate releases and improve platform stability.

• Administer AWS resources, Windows servers, and Microsoft SQL Server databases.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of professional experience in technical support, systems administration, DevOps, cloud operations, or a related technical role.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience administering Microsoft Windows Server and familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server.
• Familiarity with AWS or another major cloud platform.
• Familiarity with scripting, infrastructure as code, and Git-based source control. Experience with PowerShell, Terraform, or GitHub is preferred.
• Familiarity with monitoring or observability platforms such as Datadog.
• Experience supporting Tyler Enterprise ERP products is preferred.
• AWS Cloud Practitioner certification or another relevant technical certification is preferred.
