Job summary

Portnox is seeking an Onboarding Engineer in the Philippines to lead customer deployments of cloud-native network access control solutions. You’ll own deployments from post-sales handoff to production, training, and ongoing support, collaborating across networking, identity, and endpoint management.

You’ll learn the product deeply, understand each customer’s environment, and drive deployment practices by documenting outcomes and sharing lessons learned with the team.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing, switching, and wireless connectivity.
• Experience owning technical implementations or resolving difficult infrastructure problems.
• Ability to learn the product deeply and drive ramp-up through documentation and hands-on testing.

Responsibilities

• Discovery and planning: understand the customer environment and build a plan with milestones.
• Customer leadership: lead technical sessions and address blockers early.
• Implementation: guide deployments involving 802.1X, RADIUS, certificates, and identity integrations.
• Troubleshooting: use logs and packet captures to isolate problems.
• Production rollout: plan pilots, phased deployment, validation, and rollback.
• Escalation and follow-through: involve Support, Engineering, and Product with clear evidence.
• Training and transition: train administrators and complete handoff with documented configurations.
