Gratitude Philippines is seeking a Training Specialist – Clinical Programs to deliver effective clinical training for licensed clinicians supporting US managed care operations. The role covers onboarding, continuing education, clinical workflows, compliance, competency validation, and continuous improvement across clinical teams.

The candidate will facilitate onboarding and ongoing education for UM/UR, HIPAA/PHI compliance, and clinical documentation, while developing SOPs and training

Job Overview

We are looking for a Clinical Training Specialist to deliver effective clinical training and build competency among licensed clinicians supporting US managed care operations. The role focuses on onboarding, continuing education, clinical workflows, compliance, competency validation, and continuous improvement across clinical teams.

Key Responsibilities

1. Facilitate onboarding, pre-production, and continuing education training for clinical staff.

2. Deliver training on Utilization Management (UM), Utilization Review (UR), Case Management (CM), clinical documentation, HIPAA/PHI compliance, and clinical protocols.

3. Conduct skills validations, case simulations, and clinical competency assessments.

4. Develop, review, and update SOPs, job aids, workflow guides, and training materials.

5. Maintain audit-ready training and competency records while collaborating with Operations, Quality Assurance, and Talent Acquisition to address performance gaps and training needs.

Required Skills

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).

• Active Philippine Registered Nurse (PHRN) license.

• Active, unrestricted USRN license; NCLEX must be passed.

• At least 3 years of clinical experience.

• At least 1–2 years of clinical training, education, or facilitation experience.

• Strong understanding of US managed care, UM/UR, and HIPAA/PHI compliance.

• Healthcare BPO training experience and exposure to UR/UM operations are preferred.

• Familiarity with URAC/NCQA standards or clinical documentation platforms is an advantage.

• Current experience as a Clinical Trainer or Apprentice Trainer, supported by relevant clinical training experience, is preferred.

• Strong facilitation, communication, and clinical documentation skills.

• Willingness to work onsite in Vertis North, Quezon City, on a US day shift.

Important License Requirement

The USRN license must be active and unrestricted. Candidates whose licenses are nearing expiration must be willing to renew them. Verify the validity of both Philippine RN and USRN licenses.
