Job summary

Shearwater Health is seeking a USRN Trainer to design, deliver, and evaluate comprehensive training programs for our clinical staff. The role focuses on new hire training, compliance training, refresher courses, and continuing education across a 4000+ strong workforce.

The ideal candidate will hold an active USRN license, have 2+ years of education/training experience, and possess strong instructional design skills.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or Allied Medical fields and active USRN license.
2+ years of education/training experience including instructional design.
Strong clinical knowledge and ability to train, coach, and transfer knowledge.
Experience in Utilization Review/Management or healthcare BPO is a plus.

Responsibilities

Design, deliver, and evaluate training programs for Shearwater Health employees.
Conduct engaging nurse and healthcare training sessions.
Develop and update training materials and learning resources.
Maintain and organize the training library and related documents.
Assess trainee performance and training effectiveness.
Collaborate with Operations and Quality Assurance to close performance gaps.
